In every strand of DNA’s design,
Lies the blueprint of familial line,
From the curl of hair to the hue of eye,
Inherited whispers that never die,

Some traits emerge with striking clarity,
Echoes of ancestors in posterity,
While others lie dormant, waiting to rise,
In the dance of a genetic surprise.

In every smile, a reflection seen,
Relatives of the past, and in between,
The dimples, freckles, and quirks unique,
A testament to ancestry’s mystique.

There is attraction in the familiarity,
Much more than what’s given to the rarity
We want those who share values and strengths
To couple this perfection, we go to great lengths.

Birds of a feather, bonded for life
Kissing cousins know not strife
But for a jealous community
Threaten by familial unity

Yet genes are more than just a mirror’s tale,
They shape our health, how it might fail,
Carrying histories, both bright and gray,
In the patterns of our DNA.

We’re told that our union is obscene
A genetic monstrosity, and unclean
They cry out abnormality and sin
Overlooking the goodness that lies within.

From resilience to vulnerability,
Each trait a piece of our biology,
Family genes, a complex array,
Navigating life’s intricate way.

And in the tapestry of genetic thread,
Lies the story of the lives we’ve led,
A heritage rich, in every cell,
A legacy to weave and compel.

So let us honor our family genes,
With a cloak of love, where fate convenes,
For in their code, we find our roots,
Binding us together, with sexual pursuits.
